A word from the Head of the Department

Dear Students,

I welcome you warmly to the English Preparatory Department of Pîrî Reis University. Since the medium of instruction of the interdisciplinary education offered by Pîrî Reis University is English, your 1st year at the English Preparatory Department is of utmost importance.

Our Department community is dedicated to creating relationships with our students helping them to learn English, to overcome the adaptation period to their university life, to understand the importance of education for their future career.

We apply an intensive English teaching programme that you as students can reach advanced levels in terms of writing, reading, listening and speaking. For effective learning it’s vital that you attend and participate in classes, revise regularly and complete all tasks assigned and work at home.
