The International Conference “Ports of Connection: Multidisciplinary Perspectives in ELT (English Language Teaching),” organized by the English Preparatory School of Pîrî Reis University, will take place on 3 April 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye. The conference aims to bring together scholars and practitioners in English Language Teaching to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and promote innovative pedagogical approaches grounded in research and technology-enhanced practices. Drawing on perspectives from disciplines such as technology, psychology, letters, media, communication, and education policy, the event seeks to highlight evidence-based studies and exemplary practices, strengthen institutional and international academic networks, and contribute to sustainable and effective improvements in teaching and learning processes.
The conference invites scholars to submit abstracts for 20-minute presentations. The abstract submission deadline is 6 February 2026. All submissions will undergo review by the Scientific Committee, and accepted abstracts will be published electronically in the ISBN-assigned Book of Abstracts on the conference website. Following the review process, all participants, including presenters and attendees, are required to complete online registration starting from 6 March 2026.
