The Middle East, referred to as the cradle of civilization, is today witnessing tragic events such as food crisis, water crisis, tears, and loss of human lives. The incidents occurring in this region where millions of people live together are worrisome for humanity. Parties should be moderate in resolving the experienced pains and problems as well as ending human rights and unlawful incidents and should strive to restore the peace environment.
No matter whoever it comes from, we call on the international public to stand against attacks on humanity and innocent people as well as interventions in Gaza that disregard war law and basic moral values, accordingly to support the people of Gaza. In addition, we also expect international communities, primarily the United Nations, to be responsible and sensitive in preventing disproportionate interventions and pressures done by Israel and to take responsibility for ending these attacks.
As Piri Reis University, we invite all countries to come together to establish a life where peace and justice prevail worldwide, and to show the necessary efforts to to put an end to the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza and Palestine as soon as possible.
