Academic freedom is the ability of all employees of Piri Reis University, especially academic staff, to express themselves freely, to complete their academic studies and contribute to the scientific world, to reach the desired level of development and work by accessing the latest technology and information in the Global World without encountering any obstacles. As Piri Reis University, we fully support the academic freedom and rights of all our academic professors and other employees.

Piri Reis University (PRU) is determined to protect and develop academic freedom within the university. Academic freedom is a concept that develops institutions and puts them ahead of other universities.

Piri Reis University (PRU) secures academic freedom at the university with the Academic Freedom and Rights policy prepared in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Türkiye. Academic freedom: To be able to provide education without any restrictions or obstacles, to make unlimited choices from research and publication areas, to share ideas freely and not to be subject to a censorship policy of the institution to which it is affiliated.
