Piri Reis University Library aims to support education, training and research programs, to meet the information and document needs of academic staff, students and employees in all types and environments, and to support the use and transfer of resources. By following all innovations and technological developments in the field of librarianship, it aims to ensure that our users can quickly access the reliable information they need and at the same time strengthens its infrastructure.
Our University Library and Documentation Directorate is also a member of consortia and organizations operating in the field of librarianship such as ANKOS and TÜBİTAK-ULAKBİM.
Our library also has multimedia personal study areas, reading rooms, group study rooms and 24/7 study areas.
A fully equipped audio/six-dot embossed and magnified work station is at the service of our users for our visually impaired and low-vision users. A separate desktop computer and usage area have been allocated for our visually impaired users, creating the opportunity to benefit from the work station. We also have a collection of specially printed books consisting of the Braille alphabet for our visually impaired users.
