On January 23, 2023, an email titled “Your Office 365 Account Information [Correction]” was sent to your @pru.edu.tr (Piri Reis University Gmail Accounts), containing information to access your updated email accounts and use Office 365 applications.

As of January 23, 2023, all university announcements and emails sent to your @pru.edu.tr accounts are accessible via the Office 365 platform. Students who have received and activated the email with the provided details, as well as those who have not received or read the email, can follow the steps below to access the services offered by the university.

When You Change Your OIS Password, the Single Sign-On Feature Will Be Activated

You can access the following applications with your newly created OIS password:

Every time you change your OIS password, you will need to log into these applications using your new password.

PLEASE DO NOT SHARE YOUR PASSWORD WITH ANYONE.

1 – Students Experiencing Issues with Office 365 Username and Password:

2 – In the top-right corner, under “User Operations,” click on “Change Password” to change your password.

3 – Visit https://outlook.office365.com and log into your email account with your ois.username@stu.pirireis.edu.tr and OIS password.

4 – To download the Microsoft Teams app for online lessons, go to:
https://www.microsoft.com/tr-tr/microsoft-teams/download-app
(For work or school use, select Microsoft Teams).

5 – Open the Teams application and log in using your OIS username@stu.pirireis.edu.tr and password.

6 – You can access computers in the library and computer labs using your OIS username and password.

7 – Please note that any work done in the library and computer labs will be deleted when you log out. To save your work, make sure to back it up to OneDrive. OneDrive automatically backs up your Desktop, Documents, and Pictures folders.

8 – To access your school email on mobile devices (phone, tablet, etc.):

  • For Android devices, download the Microsoft Outlook app from Google Play Store and set it up with your email address and password.
  • For iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, MacBook, etc.), download the Microsoft Outlook app from the Apple Store.

9 – To download Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) for free:

  • Log in to outlook.office365.com, click on your name in the top-right corner, and select the following menu options: View Account → Office Applications → Applications and Devices → Install Office.
    You can install the Office applications on up to 5 devices using your stu.pirireis.edu.tr email address for free.
