• To promote fundamental research, R&D, and product development activities within the University;
• To enable the commercialization of knowledge produced at the University as a result of R&D and product development activities by making it available to industry and the business sector;
• To act as a bridge between researchers and industry, facilitating University–industry collaborations;
• To provide consultancy services on national and international project funding opportunities and on the management of intellectual and industrial property rights;
• To carry out activities aimed at fostering the development of an innovative ecosystem, particularly at the regional level;
• To contribute to economic and social development by supporting the entrepreneurial activities of researchers.
